Depending on doctor's orders and insurance authorizations, your home health aide may stop in one or more days per week, usually for about an hour, to assist with showering or bathing, and other personal hygiene and grooming tasks. Your Home Health Aide may assist with light house keeping tasks such as making bed, tidying up bathroom, making a light meal or sandwich, starting laundry, tidying up the kitchen and perhaps loading the dishwasher.

They can provide assistance with long term planning, financial resources, counseling and emotional support.
